Dr. S. N. Koteswara Rao G is a Professor of Pharmaceutics at SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed-to-be University, India, with over 16 years of academic, research, and administrative experience. He has served in leadership positions including Vice-Principal, Professor, and Head, and has contributed extensively to academic accreditation and quality initiatives. His research expertise centers on pharmaceutics, nanotechnology-based drug delivery, controlled and sustained-release formulations, lipid-based nanocarriers, and enhancement of drug solubility and bioavailability.
Dr. Rao has a substantial scholarly portfolio comprising more than 100 research publications, 3 books, 21 book chapters, and 7 patents, and has successfully supervised four Ph.D. scholars and 45 M.Pharm. research projects. His research has attracted funding from INMAS–DRDO, international industry, and NMIMS University, and he has presented his work at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Annual Meeting in the USA. His work integrates advanced formulation science, nanopharmaceuticals, and translational drug-delivery technologies to improve therapeutic performance and patient outcomes.
