Dr. Shvetank Bhatt, M.Pharm., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, India, with more than 15 years of teaching and research experience and four years of pharmaceutical industry experience. He earned his M.Pharm. in Pharmacology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from BITS Pilani. His professional journey spans both academia and industry, including experience at BITS Pilani, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Amity University, Ranbaxy Research Laboratories, and other pharmaceutical research organizations.
His research expertise encompasses neuropharmacology, central nervous system disorders, pharmacokinetics, and toxicology, with particular emphasis on depression, anxiety, Alzheimer’s disease, and related neurological disorders. Dr. Bhatt has authored over 100 research publications, 7 books, and 40 book chapters, and holds two Indian and one Australian patent. He has led UGC- and industry-funded research projects and has been recognized among the Top 2% Scientists globally in the Stanford–Elsevier rankings (2024 and 2025). His contributions reflect a strong commitment to advancing pharmacological research and developing therapeutic approaches for neurological and CNS disorders.
